RFMA GIVES 2016
CGP has been very fortunate to be a part of this great cause for the last three years. It’s at our core and part of our company culture to do more, to give back, and to take care of others. This year RFMA Gives volunteer day was at the Daily Bread, Orlando, FL. Below is some info on the event and videos shared by others and our photos of the volunteer day this year. It was an amazing team effort and we were grateful to have been a part of it!
What is RFMA Gives?
Our industry gives us so much so we are giving back through RFMA Gives. With our first project completed in 2011, each year we select a charitable shelter or kitchen that’s in need of repairs or remodeling. We pool the talents and resources of RFMA members and share them with the chosen non-profit food service organization to make a significant difference in their ability to serve the community.
RFMA Gives 2017: Daily Bread, Orlando, FLAfter visiting several wonderful organizations in the Orlando area, RFMA is humbled and pleased to announce our RFMA Gives 2017 project site is The Daily Bread located in Downtown Orlando. The Daily Bread is a great fit for our association. Their mission is to mobilize the Central Florida community to eradicate poverty through the provision of services and resources that foster hope, well-being and empowerment. They are a faith-based organization that provides programs designed to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs regardless of race, religion or gender.
